Lee Ajzenman

Lee Ajzenman is a Qualified Physiotherapist and founder of Core. Lee has a passion for helping people achieve the most out of their bodies and in 2008 when Core’s doors opened she began to live her dream.

She graduated from La Trobe University over 8 years ago. She is also Qualified and Certified in the internationally renowned Polestar Rehabilitation Pilates Course in 2004. Lee has a great passion for Women’s Health and has been working with Pre and Post Natal women for more than 10 years.

One of Lee’s strengths is Rehabilitation Physiotherapy, where she is known for her holistic approach. Lee doesn’t simply treat injuries, but the whole person.


Victoria Torabia

A qualified Physiotherapist, Victoria has been involved in Pilates for the past 7 years. Victoria recently returned from working in London where she trained with the prestigious Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute(APPI).

Victoria has a passion for managing sports injuries and has experience working in various sporting codes.Victoria combines a variety of physiotherapy techniques with functional rehabilitation and Pilates to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to diagnosis, injury management and rehabilitation.

Fiona Pozzobon

Fiona has been in private practice for the past 5 years. She completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation in 2009 and knows of the importance of having a strong core leading up to, during and post child bearing years. She has a special interest in the treatment of pregnancy related back and pelvic pain.

Fiona has completed Levels 1-4 Clinical Pilates training through Dance Medicine Australia and is currently completing Polestar’s Rehabilitation Certificate.



Naomi Berkovic

Naomi graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours. She is passionate about three Ps: Physiotherapy, Pilates and Personal training.

Naomi is interested in spinal physiotherapy, particularly neck related headaches, which was the subject of her Honours thesis. Naomi has developed expertise in sports physiotherapy.



Gabi Stanger

Gabi is qualified as a BSC Physio; she has a Certificate Manual Therapy, a Certificate Hydrotherapy, a Graduate Diploma in Movement and Dance as well as Pilates Courses.

Gabi has 24 years experience in Physiotherapy in a wide range of areas. She specialised in Orthopaedic Trauma Rehabilitation and Chronic Pain Management. She has 5 years Pilates teaching experience and embraces the values of Core through her holistic approach to health and wellness.



Nicole Fleiszig

Nicole is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with 20 years experience in the treatment of Spinal and Sports injuries. Nicole has a Physiotherapy Degree and a Post Graduate diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy and has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of neck and back pain and neck related headaches. She has worked in Private Practice since graduating in 1990 and was one of the principals of a large multi-disciplinary clinic in outer Melbourne for nearly 12 years.

Over the years, Nicole has worked with several sporting teams and athletes and developed a strong interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation with specific focus on safe functional training. This led her to undertake Clinical Pilates training through Dance Medicine Australia in 2006 and she is currently completing Polestar’s Rehabilitation Certification.

Nicole enjoys successfully combining her physiotherapy and Pilates skills to maximize injury rehabilitation, enhance sporting performance and improve general health and well being.



Kristen Roache

Kristen is a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist who graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2002. Previous to this she had completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. She spent five years in Melbourne working in public and private health during which time she specialised and completed her Certification in Polestar Rehabilitation Pilates.

Kristen is new to the Core team after returning from three years in London where she worked on Harley Street providing physiotherapy for spinal and postural related conditions, pre and post-surgery rehabilitation, soft tissue injuries, pelvic pain, ante and post natal problems.

Kristen also worked with actors and dancers performing in the West End and training at musical theatre academies. This is an area she is passionate about from her own previous dance training.

Kristen’s focus is on educating the client for injury prevention and to empower them to achieve their goals.



Justin O'donohue

Justin O’Donohue has a Diploma of Remedial Massage as well as an Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage.

Justin is a fully qualified Myotherapist who has trained as a massage therapist, in both Australia and Europe for the past 6 years. Justin has experience in treating a wide range of conditions which include sporting and work related injuries, headaches, chronic lower back and neck pain and repetitive strain injuries.
